I really don't like Sienna, sorry. It feels a bit rustic to me, I don't know why.
Senna, on the other hand, is super nice, very beautiful for a girl

Hi mom-to-be 831
No, I actually think it's nice
When you pronounce it like that, it sounds charming.
I first thought of Siena, forgive me, dumb blonde
Greetings, Madelene
Hahaha no worries... then I also find it very rustic indeed... I do have doubts though, because if people more often think you pronounce it as Siena hihi... Sienna is an Italian girl's name.. Senna by the way is an Italian boy's name, but sounds very Dutch for a girl ... Sigh I'm so unsure that sometimes I want a completely different name... I'd rather go with Mila or Julia, but my partner doesn't want that.
Hi mom of 831
Yeah, it’s tricky when people might not pronounce it correctly later on.
I had the same thing with my youngest daughter; she has a foreign name. My husband already said, “Come on, let’s use a Dutch name, otherwise people here will mispronounce it.” But I really wanted this name for her. I wanted something special, not ordinary, you know.
Her name is Lemia, and people often mispronounced it at first—they’d say Leemia instead of Lemiea.
You write Lemia.
But now, once you correct them, they just say it correctly.
The teacher says it correctly too. Fortunately.
So no problem if you tell them a few times; they’ll get it right.
I think it’s a shame if a name really means a lot to you and you love it, but you don’t give it to your child because people might mispronounce it.
Then you’re changing your own preferences to fit others.
Let them adjust and learn to pronounce it correctly. Otherwise, it’s a waste of a name you really wanted to give.
That’s how I see it.

I voted (as an anonymous user) for Senna... But in the case of Si-enna, it's indeed pronounced differently
So I'll go for Si-enna... I think it's more beautiful/unique...
I also read it differently....
