What do you think of the name?

Hi everyone!

My partner and I have been agreed for a long time on the name for our little girl, namely Tess! My partner's name is Wesley, but he's always called Wes. I'm really curious what others think... Would love to hear your opinions! Thanks in advance!

Hi Lot, I actually think Tess sounds quite unfinished.
I see it more as an abbreviation of the name Tessa rather than a name on its own.
So I can't really see it as a name, but I always think of it as short for Tessa.
I'd rather go with Tessa, and then you can always shorten it to Tess yourself.
But anyway, it's about what you find beautiful, of course. I'm just sharing my opinion.
    Greetings, Madelene

Not very fond of it? I think Tess is too short anyway, and I prefer names with two syllables...

Oops! Something went wrong with my phone... Those question marks shouldn't be there...

Tess! Cool, trendy, quick and tough. I say go for it! For her, you're just papa she won't notice.

    about your husband's name
I think, what does it matter? She'll grow up, become an adult, and go her own way anyway, so
I don't think it matters much.
And I always feel the same when people ask if my kids' names match each other?
Later on, they'll go their own way, and no one will think about the name of that person and her sister.
But well, everyone has their own opinion, of course.
