Two kids from a previous marriage, now pregnant with current partner's baby

Hey!

I have two kids from my first marriage. With my current partner, I'm now 28 weeks pregnant. Over the moon, because after my daughter I thought there wouldn't be any more kids. But here we are...
My first two labors didn't go so smoothly, so I'm hoping for an easier one this time. Maybe - and I'm hoping so - my current partner's genes are playing a role, making the labor faster and, if possible, without complications.

    Hi Vera, congratulations!!

Complications depend a bit on it. With a new partner, you have a higher risk of pre-eclampsia. That risk decreases with the same man for each baby.

Some things are hereditary, like the baby's size.

The birth should go a bit faster since it's not your first.
