Dear friends,

Since giving birth, I keep getting comments about my belly and my butt.

It makes me so insecure that I’ve lost all interest in sex.

I feel like my husband is struggling with it too, but I just can’t seem to get over it...

Does anyone else here feel the same way?

    Hi Annelies,

I’ve gained almost 30 kilos and unfortunately, they didn’t come off after giving birth. Unfortunately, there are always jerks who make rude comments and make you feel terrible. But there should be one jerk who doesn’t do that, and that’s your boyfriend/husband!

You brought a child into the world, his child!

But if you’re still struggling with it yourself, losing weight is always an option. It’s just a matter of sticking with it :-)

    Good luck!

My sister has also been through it after 2 pregnancies, but she's now losing weight almost 2 years after the last birth. You just have to think: you've had a child, you're allowed to have a bit more weight. You really shouldn't worry about it and let people talk... I'd actually be happier if I were a bit heavier than I am now, and my boyfriend would find me even more beautiful... I'd know exactly what he thinks... You've had my child, and for that I'm very grateful to you... Really, just be happy with yourself, and don't care at all about what others say.
