Jonie or Jennie

LeonieGuest ·
I like the girl names Jonie and Jennie. But what do you all think? Joni apparently has a meaning related to the female reproductive organ. That's why I thought of Jonie with an 'ie' because I really like the name. Jenni also sounds lovely to me.

Jennie can also be spelled with an i. So Jenni.

I don't think Jonie is great at all, maybe okay for a young boy, but definitely not for a girl. I think Jennie is much better for a girl. Not really my taste, but nicer.

Janice might also be nice instead of Jennie

Yeah, I still think it's a nice name... Jonie... but I'm having doubts, haha. Hormones, I guess.

Well, if you really think it's a lovely name,
then that name will always stay in your heart.
    I'd just go for it.
A name will always mean something in another language. But we live in the Netherlands, so yeah, just follow your heart if you keep finding the name beautiful.

Jennie is better. Jonie or Joni stands for vagina (Fifty Shades of Grey)

That's true. And we don't want her to be teased about it. We also liked Jolie, or maybe Jenni. Sounds nice and smooth too.

Yes! Jolie is a lovely name!
By the way. I know a boy named Jonie. (Don't know how you spell his name! Could also be Jony). Didn't know that means vagina!
I'd go for Jolie! So cheerful!

But I thought Joni was a Finnish boy's and girl's name...
And that the meaning of the name is `God is reconciling`

Jolie sounds much nicer than Jennie. With Jennie, I always picture an older woman. Jolie feels fresh and young. And it also flows well. Greetings, Madelene

It'll also be Jolie or Jenni with an i. Just a bit nicer.

Jennie is better. You wouldn't name your child Vagina, would you?

It's going to be Jolie or Jeni... so there's no need to vote for Jonie or Jenni anymore.

I think Jonie suits a tough, hip girl.
    Jennie is a bit sweeter.
    Both work
