Is this clearly a boy's name, or could there be any doubt about whether it's a girl's name?

    For a girl, it's spelled Danique. . . I think Danyc reads more feminine than Danic. So if I may choose..: Danic. Good luck!

    No, it's pretty much the same. Funny enough, I hadn't even thought about the female variant with 'que' before. So there will definitely be some confusion...

    I think it works perfectly fine for both! There will definitely be moments of doubt, but I wouldn't have a problem with that myself! Our daughter has a similar name! I also think Danic is really nice for a boy! Lovely sound! I'd go with Danic myself! A bit more boyish and prettier, simpler to spell.

    My niece's daughter also has that name, I think it's a really beautiful name.
    Her name is spelled Danique, exactly as Esra also mentioned.
