Help, what do you think?

I'd love to hear your opinions.
We're due in June and still haven't decided on a name.
We've been considering "Donnée" as a girl's name.
I'm completely in love with this name, but my partner is hesitant and not yet convinced. Maybe also because you never actually hear it used. What do you all think?

    Nice name!

    Either Donna or Daphne

    Good luck with the choice

Apart, but definitely not one of a kind.
    Nice and original, exactly.
Go with your gut feeling if the name feels right in your heart, definitely do it.
    Greetings, Madelene

Still very curious if there are more opinions?
Unfortunately, the decision hasn't been made yet on which name it will be.

What always helped me was the name I liked and that popped into my head first. I’d basically already suggest that my baby is called that, picture the baby, and then talk to my belly using the name I had in mind. So I’d call my baby in my womb by that name already. Then you get used to the name and can better feel if it really fits your heart.

I was looking for a sweet, soft name for my youngest daughter and I already called her that when she was in my tummy. When I stroked my belly, I’d say, “This one’s staying, this is definitely it.”

My oldest daughter is Yara—my husband came up with that name. I think it’s a smooth, cheerful name. But this time I really wanted something completely different for the youngest, which I found nice, so a softer, lovely name. I didn’t hesitate long; I already knew by 3 months pregnant.

So yeah, try to look at it for yourself. You basically have to fall in love with the name. Only then, when it’s truly in your heart, is it the right name

    Good luck with your choice.

    Best wishes, Madelene

I think it's a nice name. I'd go for it! Unusual but definitely wearable Donka or Donmee could also work. Love, and let us know your choice?!

    Hi ladies,

I've already received 2 confirmations that I am indeed pregnant, with a value of 5000 at 4-5 weeks. My question now is: I keep having a dull abdominal pain, and every time I feel a sharp stab, I think, "Oh no, something's wrong." Also, because I don't really feel pregnant yet, do you have any experience with this? I have to wait 3 weeks before seeing the gynecologist for the first ultrasound. It's going to be 3 long weeks because I still don't have confirmation that there's really a baby growing. I hope everything stays okay and that we'll have a positive ultrasound.

I'm also pretty sure about it, and indeed, for me, our baby is already called Donné. But my boyfriend isn't quite sure yet and wants to keep looking. So I'm hoping to convince him with these positive reactions. It's a name you rarely hear here, which might be why he's hesitating.

I know you choose a name together, but I've been in love with this name for so long. Just the idea that it might become a different name already brings me a kind of regret. No other name comes close to this one.

    Thanks

Heek mooi! But personally, I think Danae is even more beautiful!! Or Romae/Romée. Good luck with your choice.

My niece is named Vive, and I also like one called Fiene. I still think they're super unique names. Good luck!
