Grandparents are advising against a third pregnancy...

Hi Margot,
My parents and my grandma also don't think it's necessary for us to add a third one.
My grandma also makes the remark: would you even do that these days?
Isn't this no longer the time to bring children into the world?
Be happy with what you have; you've got 2 easy, healthy kids.
But yes, my husband and I both feel like we could still manage it. I've always had the wish for 3 kids.
Yes, I completely understand that it's hard for you; the hesitation brings doubt.
That's tough; it does influence your choice subconsciously.
I can totally relate.
Well, they undoubtedly mean well.
But ultimately, it's about you two.
I'd say look beyond just the financial aspect and see if you can have kids.

Do they demand a lot of attention and are they ready for a sibling?
Do you have easy kids or not?
If they still need a lot of attention,
it's going to be pretty tough with another little one.
    You shouldn't underestimate that.
Otherwise, it's still the right choice.
    I'm just pointing it out.
    Greetings, Madelene

It was meant to be. Otherwise, it's up to you. I'm just giving my input. I wrote it too quickly. Good luck with your decision.

    Hi Margot.

What a tough situation! I have to say I find it really hard to give you good advice here. I obviously know nothing about your financial situation, your home, or the circumstances you're in...

Given your story, you and your boyfriend are really convinced about having a third child, so it seems logical to me that you've already thought this through thoroughly and have confidence in your decision!

If this is what you want and the circumstances are good (enough), then I wouldn't let what family says hold you back. No matter how much you wish they would be happy about it and share your opinion.

I'd say go for it. You might regret it later if you let others stop you...

    Good luck! X

If you and your hubby are sure about your decision, then I’d just go for it!
Your grandparents don’t need to make decisions for you anyway.
Giving advice and stuff is fine, but that doesn’t mean you have to live your life exactly how they say..
I sound pretty radical here, but it’s your life, your choices!

Wow, I’ve had that too. They mean well, but what business is it of theirs? This is your choice!
I assume you still have the stuff from the first two? Do you have the space, or can you make some? Then it doesn’t have to be so expensive. It’s about making conscious choices.
Unless grandma and grandpa babysit very regularly, then I’d understand that 3 might be a lot for older people.
So it really depends on the situation.
