Boy's name

Good morning everyone,

It's tough thinking of a boy's name... phew...
We don't know what it'll be yet, but we already have a girl's name :-)

I'm considering the name:
-Rens
I think it sounds nice, is easy to spell, and it works for an adult too, right?
I also find the names below beautiful.
-Jesper
-Kees
-Jarvin

What do you all think of these names?

Thanks everyone!

Best,

I really like Rens, and Jesper too. Kees and Jarvin are completely different names and not my preference

I think Jesper is really nice from your list.
Kees feels a bit outdated to me personally,
and Jarvin is okay but doesn't give me that "Jes" feeling.
I'd say Jesper has a bit of a Casper vibe.
    Greetings, Madelene

I only think Jesper is nice. Casper I also like, by the way.
The other names not so much.
When I hear Rens, I immediately think of Circus Rens or Peter Jan Rens... I don't think Rens is that great...

    Good morning everyone,

Thank you all for the responses so far....
    I'm still not sure......

    Best wishes

It's hard, right? I think Jesper is the nicest from your list..
We're also having a son and are thinking about Kevin, Gido, or Nika.
Fortunately, I still have 20 weeks left, phew.

    Oh... Ar81,
I think Nika is a beautiful name! Very nice/original!
  7. Angie #8

    Ar81, Nika is top!

Michelle, I don't think any of the names are really great, but if I had to choose, I'd go for Jarvin.
  8. Ar81 #9

Haha, we're more thinking of Kevin now...
  9. Madelene #10

Ah, 81, that's really nice! The name Kevin, for some reason, I just feel like it stays beautiful.
If I get pregnant with my third child and it's a boy, I'd love to name him Kevin. It's just a pity my husband thinks differently—he's of Italian origin, and the name Kevin isn't really common there.
But I think it's such a lovely name; it always sounds nice and flows well. Really good choice. If I were you, I wouldn't look any further and would go for Kevin.
    Greetings, Madelene

Hihi, thank you so much, Madelene!
We still have some time to think about it, but so far we think this is the cutest name. We also have a Dutch last name that fits well with it.
    What are your kids' names?
  11. Madelene #12

Hi Ar81, my oldest daughter is called Yara and the youngest is called Lemia, not pronounced like Leemia. But pronounced like Lemiea. My husband came up with the name for the oldest, and I came up with the name for the youngest. Greetings, Madelene

That's a coincidence! We also think Yara is such a lovely name for a girl.. Yara or Senna would be the choice then haha.
    But we're having a boy! ;-)
  13. Madelene #14

Hi Ar81, that's definitely a coincidence. I think the name Senna is absolutely wonderful for a girl too. It was also a name I wanted to give my youngest, but unfortunately, my niece had already named her daughter so, it didn't work out. Nice, we have pretty much the same taste in names

What do you all think of the name Wessel?

    Thanks in advance!
  15. Madelene #16

    Hi Michelle,
I think the name Wessel is quite cool, not unpleasant, but
I wouldn't choose it for my own child.
    Greetings, Madelene

    Cool, trendy name, Wessel!
