Good morning ladies, I had my 13-week ultrasound last week and my question is, do you see what it is? The midwife didn't want to say, health is the most important thing but I'm

Unfortunately, I can't make anything of it, but I've always been told that boys have a much higher heart rate than girls. I don't know from when these differences appear or what the exact beats per minute are for a boy though... -

13 weeks is still a bit too early for a gender determination via ultrasound. That's probably why your midwife didn't want to say anything about it. Hang in there a little longer but I totally understand wanting to know. I wanted to know so badly myself. But it was a really beautiful ultrasound -

On the ultrasound, you see your little miracle from the side, so you can't tell what it'll be like. A gender determination is usually done from 15 to 16 weeks. That's when they can take a picture between the legs. You can check my photos to see what that looks like. The gynecologist didn't want to tell me either at 14 weeks; she said the chance of being wrong is too high... have some patience, unfortunately, hihi -
