Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests

Dear Ladies,
Last month, a few days overdue, I did a couple of tests: two negative and two positive. Then I got my period anyway. About two weeks later, I was already feeling nauseous. Took another test, and it was positive. I went to the midwife, had an ultrasound, and sure enough, she saw nothing except a thickened uterine lining, which she said meant I’d had an early miscarriage. Now I’m two weeks overdue again, and I completely don’t get it anymore. I’m going to grab a test soon and will let you know the result. Has anyone experienced this before?

No experience with that. But it's quite a strange story. I'm curious what the test results will show! I can imagine this is incredibly confusing for you. How many weeks pregnant would you have been when the midwife checked?
