name choice / spelling

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm almost 22 weeks pregnant now, and we're expecting our first in June. (a girl)
I find it really hard to pick a name because we both have quite different tastes when it comes to names.
We've found a name we really like, but we can't agree on the spelling. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Elif or Eliv?

    Would also go for Eliv!

    I'd pronounce Eliv differently than Elif (Eliv with a 'v' sound and E-lief). So I'd base the spelling on the pronunciation you want.

    Eliv! Although Elif is also beautiful, it looks a bit more exotic. elyv seems a bit more crafted. But not any less nice, though!
