We're really torn between whether to go with IngMAR or IngRAM.
The first sounds nicer, the second is cooler and easier to pronounce?
What would you do?

Other names are welcome too, but preferably not too trendy. We're looking for something with two or three syllables.

I'd go for Ingmar rather than Ingram... Ingram makes me think of one-gram right away.

What do you think of Elmar or Selmar?
  3. nee, geen Elmar of Selmar Guest #4

It's nice that you're helping me think this through. My boyfriend is quite into IngRAM. He thinks IngRAM is a bit intense—cool and strong, but less sweet than IngMAR. Whereas I find IngRAM easier to pronounce myself..

    Wow, what a tough choice!

I get it now that I was stressing the wrong syllable...
    So you're saying ing-ram...
Still, I find Ing-mar much more beautiful and (as you yourself also mention) more friendly sounding...
I don't really like "Ram"! It brings up associations with drama for me...

    Anyway, good luck!
(My first response was also from me)....

    Agreed, about the "dramming".

I've already read Instagram twice at Ingram ;-) sorry...so my preference would go to Ingmar.

And with this name I have to think of the name Yelmer....very different but maybe also nice? I find it gives a similar feeling... it's just an idea he...

    Definitely to know, Ingmar

Ingram makes me think of Instagram

I'm also going for Ingmar, I think it's a strong name too. Personally, I find Ingmar easier to pronounce than Ingram. Ingram sounds harsher.

I don't think Yelmer is that nice, even though a good friend of ours has that name.

    A lot of people think it's pronounced IN-GRAM, but it's actually ING-RAM.
Yeah, there are definitely a lot of INSTAGRAM associations.

Probably it'll end up being INGMAR
