We're looking for a nice name for Roos's little sister. What do you think of Lis?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

    Hi sweetie, beautiful name Roos!
Honestly, I don't think Lis is a nice name.
I'd find something shorter and cuter, like Lizi.
Or Fleur would also be nice with Roos.
    Greetings, Madelene

    Thanks Madelene for your reply.

I think lizie/lizy is also really nice. My husband, unfortunately, likes it less.
He really wants a short name.

Fleur isn't an option here, we both don't like it much ;-)

But lizie/lizi/lizy is on my list though.

    Hi sweetie, you're welcome!
I think the name Roos also sounds really nice with Lizzie.
Maybe you can convince your husband by saying that they can always shorten Lizzie to Lis later on.
    Hope you can persuade him!
Good luck with your baby soon!
    Love, Madelene

Honestly, I'm not completely charmed by the name Lis either. It feels a bit "unfinished" to me... I have that same feeling with names like Lynn or Liv, for example...
Roos (and names like Fleur, Pien, Pleun), on the other hand, are also short, but they feel "complete" to me!

I'd go with Lisse, maybe with the nickname Lis.
