Forum Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests

Well, ovulation, no menstruation

Hi,

In June 2014 I stopped the pill because we wanted to have a baby. It's been eight months now and I do ovulate every month (I use ovulation tests that are positive every month, and I can tell from my discharge and temperature that I'm ovulating), but I haven't seen a single drop of blood to this day... I only have brown discharge for 4 days a month (around the time I should be menstruating). But it's so little that I don't need to use tampons or pads (my panty liner is almost clean by the end of the day), and I only notice it when wiping after peeing. No cramps or other symptoms I used to have when I was on my period. This has been fairly regular every cycle since stopping the pill; about 2 weeks after ovulation, I get that discharge for 4 days.

My question is: how can I ovulate but not have bleeding 2 weeks later?

I think no one here really has an answer to that. It is strange though. Personally, I think it's best to ask your GP or gynecologist about this kind of question. Otherwise, it's just a guessing game for you. One person thinks this, the other thinks that, but you'll never know for sure... It'll just make you more uncertain, I think. Good luck

Thanks for your reply. I'll make an appointment with my GP and ask for a referral to the gynecologist.

Wow, I have that too!!! I haven't used the ovulation tests yet because I don't know when I should test!
Any more news from the doctor?
