Lauren, Amelia, or Elise

KarolienGuest ·
We just can't find a name for our girl who will be born in 4 weeks.
Her big brother is called Lucas (named after my late father).
My husband only likes the name Lauren. But is that too English and does it fit with Lucas?
I like names like Elise, Louise, Marie, Amélie, but my husband doesn't think those are an option.
What do you all think?

I think Lauren is a really nice name, but it doesn’t quite fit with Lucas. I don’t think it’s too English, but Lucas feels classic while Lauren is much more trendy.

I think Lauren is such a beautiful name!
I’d just go for it, I don’t think it’s weird or anything! Really lovely name, Lauren!
If they end up getting together in the long run, that’d be a whole different story...

I also think Louise and Amélie are beautiful...
Marie feels old-fashioned to me! (Sorry)

I think Elise is pretty boring, sorry, but I'd change it to Elizabeth—nice and classic.
I think Lauren works well—it's a strong name.
I can picture someone who has it all together.
    Amelia is beautiful and special.
I'd go with Amelia or Lauren.
    Greetings, Madelene

I think Lauren is also a lovely name and actually fits well with Lucas... But you really need to agree on it yourself and not just go along with it because your husband wants that name. You need to be in agreement about the name together. You could also think about "Livia," derived from Olivia. Nickname "Lief" haha!
