Hi, I'm Nikki and I'm 15. My boyfriend (we've been together for 7 months) and I had sex. I'm on the pill, but I really don't want to be pregnant! My mom says that's impossible. I'm stopping the pill now and going to see if I get my period. What would you do?

    Hi Nikki,
    In principle, you can't be pregnant, but you do have to swallow the pill properly unless it's your break week. What makes you want to stop?
    Sperm can survive for a few days. The chance of getting pregnant is still small, but not completely safe. (PS if you've already missed a day, that's no problem either, forgetting one pill once won't hurt)
    So just keep taking the pill and don't worry!
    And next time you can always use a condom if you're worried, double dutch
