Hey everyone,

My partner and I are the first in our friend group and my partner's friend group to have a baby. Everyone always asks how we're doing and they're really sweet about it. But some things (like dealing with hormones, worrying about certain things, etc.) they don't really understand. I don't judge them for this and I still love them just as much. But I still often feel lonely because of it.

I have no intention of dropping our friends, I was just wondering how you all dealt with such things if you experienced/have experienced the same thing.

    Hi,

Given the number of replies, no one recognizes this..!??!

I kind of do, I gave birth to our first in October. I moved for my husband, and most of my friends were already parents, but since I had moved, I didn't see them as often as before. I noticed in the last 2 months of my pregnancy that I felt a bit lonely because of that. Of course, I could call, text, etc., but that's still different... I hope you can talk to someone about it, because being pregnant and having a baby is the most beautiful thing there is!!! Enjoy it!

I'm actually the last one among family and friends to be pregnant, so I've got lots of people I can reach out to and swap experiences with.
But can't you talk to someone in your family, like your own mother... she's definitely been pregnant

And if you want, just enjoy using this forum... you'll read plenty here about women who are also pregnant and feel unsure or have symptoms.
In the meantime, try to enjoy your pregnancy.
