Alternative position clothing

Hi ladies,

I might have a weird question.
I'm only just 9 weeks pregnant, but I'm noticing that some tight jeans don't feel so comfortable anymore. So I'm occasionally browsing maternity wear... well, you'd think there's plenty of choice.....butrrrr, I have a bit of an unusual taste.
I find it all a bit too basic or too sweet.....my husband and I like camo pants, black, shirts with unusual prints (think skulls) or unique shapes.
Of course, I can get by with a few basic pairs of pants, and I can just buy a shirt a size bigger for now. But especially when I have a really big belly, I find it hard to find a bit of a tough top/dress/skirt or shirt.

Do you have any idea where I can find something?

Phew, that's pretty tricky indeed. Maybe you can buy a position shirt at HEMA (black) and get it printed somewhere with a cool design?

As for pants, it's a total mess, I'm afraid.

If you're still looking in the sale section, they have a sale here: www.inpositiekleding.nl/positiekleding

@beertje: funny that you still fit into your shirts... I already had to put a few aside because they're too tight around my rapidly growing breasts

I'll check out your sites, thanks in advance for thinking along with me, ladies.

Hi Mandy, I ordered a black leather biker jacket from Mamalicious on ikenmijnkind.nl for €29.95. Maybe it's something for you too?

Hi... I just took a quick look and it's definitely nice. Thanks. But the thing is, I don't really need coats as far as I can tell right now, and since money doesn't grow on trees, I only buy things I really need. After all, it's only for a short period, so I feel it's a real waste.

My winter coat fits well and has some room left, so that'll get me through the winter. And I think I still have two lighter jackets that are actually a bit too big, so I can probably wear them into spring... well, that's what happens when you keep things from when you were heavier.

And I know myself... I basically never wear a proper summer coat; the jacket is already too warm for that. For summer, a cardigan is enough; I can wear it both indoors and outdoors.

I'm really a weird woman; I'm not a shopper, and especially if it's only for a short while, I can manage with just a few things. I remember a friend of mine was pregnant years ago; she wanted to go to some expensive boutique. Her husband had already looked at me imploringly beforehand, as if to say, "Can you please keep her in check..."

He was still shocked when we got back and heard how much she'd spent. Until I whispered in his ear how many items she'd put back on my insistence because I thought it was nonsense to buy so much for just those few months. Then he gave me a grateful look.

When my husband hears stories like this, he's so happy with me, haha

Haha, that's really extreme. I only have 1 summer/transition jacket that isn't so wide, so I'll still need something for later. I'm a teacher so I'm often outside, and I don't have a car so I do everything by bike. Then a jacket is quite handy . I'm also glad I discovered happybellys.nl by the way. You can score a maternity pant there for €7. I really don't need it new. Otherwise, I wear my own t-shirts for as long as possible, they're roomy anyway, and if not, I go to Hema and buy a large size, my sister-in-law did that too . I find it scandalous what they ask for maternity clothes in the shops. Second-hand looks almost new since you don't wear it for long.
