Do you know when you ovulated? If so, you can test 14 days after. If not, I'd go by your longest cycle. You'll probably test too early at some point. I'd recommend getting cheap tests; the 2W5 tests from Kruitvat or the ones from Action. -

No, I never know when my ovulation is. The gynecologist told us to be active from day 14 to day 24, and we did that too. I have a test from Action. -

Well, if you don't know when your egg was and you don't want to test too early, I'd go by your longest cycle.
The leaflet of certain Clearblue tests says you can test 19 days after having unprotected sex.
And well, you just have to be patient, it doesn't happen by itself!
