I think the name Noortje is sooo beautiful and sweet... what do you think? My first daughter is named Jasmijn!!
Or should it be Noor?! So hard to decide... Noor or Noortje?! Help!

    I think Noortje is really beautiful, I’d love it too. Unfortunately, my husband doesn’t because his uncle’s cat is named that . We’ve got an alternative that we also really like. If it’s a girl, it’ll be Floortje. For a boy’s name, we’ve chosen Niels.

    My daughter is named Noor, she's 8 now. I always get really nice reactions to her name, beautiful and strong, and it's not that common.

    Our niece is also named Noor, but she's usually called Noortje.

    I'd go with Noor. People close to her will naturally call her Noortje. But when she's older, she can choose to go with Noor herself ;-). Both are so beautiful!

    I’d go with Noor. For a (little) girl, Noortje is cute, but not for an adult woman!
    With Noor, you’re basically giving people the choice between Noor and Noortje, so it’s always a good option.

    Noor or Noortje --> pretty difficult!
    I'd go for Noortje. Sounds a bit nicer to me.
    I definitely think it works for an adult woman too, but that's personal, of course.
    And during her teenage years, she can still call herself Noor if she wants.
    I myself am called Tineke, and a lot of people think I'm actually Tine. But I think Tineke sounds so much better, and I'm already in my late 20s (so I'm really happy with my parents' choice of name!).
    I feel exactly the same about Noortje.

    I'm going crazy over this name choice; I can't find a name that both my partner and I like - that's going to be a search!
    Maybe I should suggest 'Noortje' to him .

    Noor would be my preference; it sounds a bit more mature for when she grows up to be a proper lady!
