Maybe test again in a little while? Maybe you have a longer cycle this time. Or it could be your body's reaction to 'coming off the pill' or whatever you call it with an Implanon. Your hormone levels probably still need to get back into rhythm.
Actually, once the Implanon is out, your body will quickly get into a good cycle. You don't really need to "detox" because you're only getting very little hormones.
I'd still take a test. Let me know?!

I can really relate to your story. I had my Implanon removed on Friday, and on Saturday my period started. I had a normal bleed all week. Now it's been a month, and I guess I should be getting my period again on Saturday. It's already a few days past that, and I still haven't gotten it. I also had cramps 1-2 weeks ago and have tender breasts, etc. I haven't taken a test yet, but I'm afraid I'm hoping too much for a baby again. With the first one, it also took 9 months.
Hi, I'm Sanna and I'm new here. I had an Implanon inserted in my arm 4 months ago and was bleeding every day for 4 months... I got it taken out yesterday because I was fed up. I don't know when my real period should start now. I also don't know if any of you have experience with this, and I want to get pregnant. I know I'll be fertile right away, but is it okay to try now, or should I wait another month or two? Hope someone can help. Greetings, Sanna
I got the IUD inserted last November. But I had a lot of bleeding every day. That’s why I had it removed on March 10, 2017. My partner and I really want our first baby. He notices that my breasts are getting bigger, and I’m starting to get a little belly. Could it be possible that I’m already pregnant now? I don’t know when I should expect my period again either.. I was still bleeding until March 13.
It could definitely happen..
I was already pregnant after 2 weeks once the Implanon was removed. Daughter is 5 now though.
Tomorrow this Implanon is going out, we're going to try for a second one. Also very curious how long it'll take now.
Hi everyone. I have a similar question.
(Baby is very welcome) but I don't know when I'm fertile.
Had the Implanon removed on March 3rd. (I started bleeding at the end of February and had my period until March 10th) and nothing since then. And I've had unprotected sex. Besides that, just a little nauseous. Of course, taking a test is the best option, but just curious if there's even a chance.
Hi! I had the Implanon removed on May 8th, and I was still having my period then. Now, I still haven't gotten my period—four weeks have already passed.
This isn't the case for everyone though, that your body immediately gets a good cycle again after having the Implanon removed! I had the Implanon removed almost 3 years ago already, but I still haven't gotten my period. I've had several 'courses' of 10 days to induce menstruation. This was successful, but very minimal. Now I'm searching online myself on how to induce menstruation without medicinal stuff because I don't feel comfortable with only being prescribed chemical substances! So if anyone has tips? I'm at my wit's end, we really want a baby.
27-09-17 had my Implanon removed and got my period yesterday 28-10-17, but wow, it was intense, I'm practically flooding. But I feel so good again. That thing was in for 10 months and I was a bitch for 10 months and very unhappy. Never again for me. I'm curious if others here have had similar issues. No physical complaints though, and I didn't get my period either.
Hi everyone! After 2.5 years, I had my Implanon removed on 13-11-2017. I hadn't had a period anymore and was fine with that. My doctor said I could have a normal period after 2 weeks. So my question is: are you fertile right after 2 weeks?
Hi.
I’m in a similar situation here. Had the Implanon removed after 3 years on 8/11. Got my period from 10th to 13th.
I was hoping to get pregnant by now, but so far nothing. I do have stomach pain, feel nauseous, dizzy, and tired though. Unfortunately, multiple tests have been negative.

Same here. Had the Implanon removed on 11/09, got my period from 3/11 to 7/11, and still waiting... I do sometimes get sharp pains in my lower abdomen, and a couple of weeks ago I had cramps for a few days in a row... Still negative tests though.
I had already mentioned that I had my Implanon removed on 27-09-17. I got my period on 28-10-18 and decided to go for it right away. Since I had no idea how long my cycle was, I started ovulation tests from day 10. When I thought it wasn't going to work, I had positive tests from day 22 to 24. So my cycle was 38 days. I had sex on day 22 and didn't do anything else after that. (We're not the regular kind of couple, so I already assumed it would take a while this time.) But a week after ovulation, I already had sore breasts and bouts of nausea. Five days before my expected period, the pregnancy test was negative. Well, I woke up early and thought if it's negative, I can say it's too early and try again.
On the day of my expected period, I didn't dare to test, so I grabbed an ovulation test instead. Logic, right? It was super positive. The next day, I also had a positive pregnancy test.
Now I'm 7 weeks along and hoping everything is going well. So it can happen very quickly.
Hi,
I've been searching a lot to find out how long it usually takes to get pregnant after having your Implanon removed. I've seen various responses online, including some outdated posts. I had mine taken out last Friday, July 6th, and can't wait to have my first ovulation. Any other girls who recently had their Implanon removed or are planning to?
Love,
Kim
Hi Kim,
I had my Implanon removed last Monday. I'm also really curious how quickly my period will come back. Exciting! For the first time, I can't wait for my period—let the first ovulation come quickly .. hehe.
On Nov 6, 2019, I had the Implanon removed and got my period on Nov 27. I had unprotected sex between Nov 6 and Nov 27, and now after my period, I'm still feeling nauseous and having stomach cramps. I had sex on Nov 10, and 4 days later the test was negative. It was too early, and I haven't taken another test yet... I don't know if I'm pregnant or not.
Hi hi, I'm 37 years old. I had my Implanon removed on January 6, 2021—I had it for 8 years. Today is February 20, 2021, and I still haven't gotten my period. Are there any other women/girls who have had or are having problems with this, and what are your experiences? My partner and I really want to have a baby. Thanks in advance, best wishes, Deborah
