Online OV drivers always say something different

Hi,

My cycle has been irregular for almost half a year now. And unfortunately, we're still not pregnant. I've been doing online calculations to figure out when my fertile window is, but now one says it's May 11th and another says May 17th. One calculator asks for the start date of your period, the end date, and the cycle length; another only wants the start date and length; and yet another only wants the end date and length. How am I supposed to know which one is correct???

Also, I do ovulation tests every month, but they don't always give a clear result, and the positive days are different each month.

Hi, you ovulate 14 days after your period starts. The 3 days around your ovulation. Beforehand, it's not exactly possible to say when your ovulation is.

If you have a 28-day cycle, your ovulation should occur on day 14, and you're most fertile on days 13, 14, and 15.

If your cycle is longer, say 30 days, then it's days 15, 16, and 17.

Good luck with the tasks! :-)

Same problem here, my cycle does whatever it wants.
Then 45 days, then 75, then 50 again. The longest so far has been 89 days!
My last pregnancy took 1.5 years to happen.
I'd say forget those calculations and just have sex every other day.
That gives you the best chance.
And it keeps you from going crazy.

Good experiences with the ovulation calendar here on Brabbels! Definitely worth trying .

My cycle is about 25/26 days. When would my most fertile days be?

I've also found that the online calculations are never really accurate.

Better to go with your gut feeling.
