hesitant pregnant

We're now 6 weeks pregnant with our second baby.
Planned.

But still, sometimes I get this feeling like, "help, do I really want this?"
It makes me really nervous sometimes.

Do other women feel this way too, or is there something wrong with me?

    Hi,

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I gave birth to our first child in October, and during my pregnancy, I also had feelings like whether we could really take care of a baby, etc.

    So I totally get it!

    Best wishes

I honestly don't recognize that feeling. I never had that feeling with my second child, or my first either. But now, as I'm going for a third child, that feeling does creep up on me sometimes. Because people around me and my family keep saying, "You should start with another child?" After all, you have two such easy kids; you're sure not to get two more like that. And then I start thinking, what if they both get it? But at the same time, I try to push that fear away and just go for a third little miracle.
    Greetings, Madelene

I had it really bad with the first one too, and that feeling stayed. You know you can do it, but you start doubting yourself so much. Long live the hormones!

    It’s probably the hormones, indeed.
I know how amazing and wonderful it is to be a mother. And that it’s indeed the insecurity. But I don’t want to feel this way. Because it’s so welcome and desired, but it still catches me off guard a bit, even though we’ve been trying for a while now.
Maybe it’s also the tiredness and the nausea.

    Hi Madelene,
    Maybe the hormones.
    Has it gone over yet?

    Greetings
