17 weeks, ruptured membranes

Dear ladies,

Last year in December, at 12 weeks pregnant, I had to terminate my pregnancy due to ruptured membranes. Now, almost a year later, I'm nearly 19 weeks pregnant with a son. Since week 8, I've had bleeding (a hematoma under the gestational sac). At 17 weeks, I had a check-up... ruptured membranes Meanwhile, artificial amniotic fluid was injected at the LUMC without any result unfortunately. On the same day, I lost the amniotic fluid again. Now, we're waiting until 24 weeks for the lung maturity shots, with a huge chance that our little man will pass away after birth due to underdeveloped lungs The chances are very slim that he'll make it... but still, you read positive stories that give us hope... So here's the question: does anyone have experience with this...

I don't have many words for this. I find this really hard for you. Pray and keep hoping. Every day with your baby is taken for granted. Talk to your baby in your belly and tell him/her to fight hard for his/her life when he/she is born.
