I'd go with Phill :-) I think it's such a beautiful and special name, and with 2 L's it feels like it has an extra touch :-)
    Tough yet classic!

    TOPPER! xxx

That's really nice! I'd go with Phill—it looks better.
It's a beautiful name to give your baby: well-known but not too common, and truly fits both kids and adults. Another lovely choice, different from Bram and Sam,
which is fine, of course—everyone has their own taste, but you hear those names so often.
    Greetings, Madelene

Yep! Fun! I'd also go for Phill!

I'd stick with just one L, because everyone will probably spell it wrong later on anyway.

Nice..but also think about Dr. Phil.

I actually think it has something special about it that reminds me of Dr. Phil. He's intelligent and helps people with their life problems, so I think being compared to him is actually a compliment.
If I have time, I also watch that show regularly—it's very interesting and educational.
But well, that's just my opinion, of course.
    It's a nice name, as I said.

It still makes me hesitate a bit, Dr. Phil.

But I know the kids don't even know who it is, so bullying probably won't happen that much, I think.
I really like short names, like Finn. Unfortunately, it's so common now that I've started looking for something new.

Phill really doesn't come up that often.

What you hear a lot of these days is:
    Gust
    Briek
    Mats
    Tuur
    Nand

@Madelene..if it reminds me of Dr. Phil, that doesn't necessarily mean it's negative. Maybe it's good not to fill in someone else's thoughts. Because what I thought about it, I didn't say, only that it's a nice name...
But have you figured it out yet, Mamannelous?

Hi Am, that's pretty annoying, even a bit sad that you're dealing with this.
Well, if my comment makes you feel so targeted, I think that says more about you.
No one else is responsible for how you take things; you're responsible for your own emotions and how things affect you.
Too bad you take it personally, girl.
    There's no need for that.
    Greetings, Madelene

    Mama Anne Loes
Personally, I wouldn't hesitate. It would be a shame if you started doubting when you initially thought it was a beautiful name.
    I really think it's a lovely name
But it's of course your choice.
    Good luck with your decision.
And good luck with your baby later on.
    Greetings, Madelene

@Madelene. I'm not really bothered by it, haha. Now you're filling in someone else's thoughts again... It's not about emotions... I have no idea where you're getting that from.
Let's just stop talking about it.
  13. madelene #14

What I mean is, Am, you already filled that in for me that I was talking to you. I didn’t mention your name; I was talking to Mama, Anne, Loes.
But since you feel addressed, you respond to me.
That’s why I say I’m not responsible for how something comes across to you.
So I don’t need to overthink before I write something.
And besides, I think there are more important things I should be focusing on.
    Have a nice day.
    Greetings, Madelene
