hard contractions

Hi, first time here but I have a question. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have had strong contractions all day. Not sure if I should do anything about it. I did get plenty of rest today though. .. Best, Hanneke

    Hard contractions can be quite common during this period. If you're unsure whether it's really painful, just give your midwife a call.

    If they keep calling the midwife regularly, that could be an explanation if you've been really busy in the last few days. It's kind of normal right now.

    Anyway, go take a nice warm shower or have a warm bath. A warm water bottle against your belly can also help. If that doesn't help and you haven't called the midwife yet, I'd suggest doing so if it continues. Just to be safe.
