How do you pronounce Anaï / Anaïs?

    Nice, I'm also really struggling with the pronunciation myself. At first I thought 'anaaj' but then when I thought about the second name last, I thought 'ana-ies'.

    All in all, it will probably be quite a confusing name.

    I think it's a really nice name to see though, but somehow or other I do have to think of Belgium. Maybe that's because of their 'amai' or something.

    Anaïs: I think Anna-ie (like the perfume :-))
    It's a very original, beautiful name.

    I honestly don't know about Anaï. Probably Anaaj?

    Anaï: Ah-naa-ie
    Anaïs: ah-na-jis

    Anaï is pronounced like Anna
    Anaïs is pronounced like Anna-ees

    Thanks for your replies... Do you think it's a nice name or does it feel a bit weird that the 'ie' or 'ies' is tacked on like that?
