18 days late, tests are negative

Hi,
Can someone give me advice or has anyone experienced the same?
I stopped the pill in May, and had a regular cycle for the last 3 months.
Now 18 days late, but tests are negative.
I've had some brownish bleeding since yesterday, which was worse this morning, and now it's less again.
I do have some symptoms like a bloated stomach, heartburn, irregular contractions, and I'm really tired.
I went to the GP last week, and she said I should just wait it out.
Such uncertainty,

Oh, I wish I could help you. You can only wait at this point, and maybe test again in a few days.
It's weird that your GP didn't have you do a blood test. Mine did. -

Hi! I've been tracking my period for a while now using a period calendar. I'm always on time, on the exact date as shown on the calendar.
Now, suddenly, I'm 18 days late. The pregnancy test is negative.
I did go to get my blood drawn today though.
Oh, and my breasts are really sensitive.
