I'm Dominique and 21 years old. I've been in a stable relationship with my 26-year-old boyfriend for 2.5 years. I've had the desire for children since I was 18, if not earlier. I was in a 4-year relationship before this one and already had that desire then, and I shared it with my ex back then. But my current boyfriend just doesn't know if he's ready for it. I really don't know what to do about it. I'm afraid to push him too much because I don't want to push him away, but I also don't want to just leave it be, because I'm worried it might take years before my biggest wish finally comes true.
