Intense pressure on the vagina

Who else has this? I'm 30 weeks now and have had severe pressure on my vagina and perineum for the past 2 days. It really hurts when I walk, but I don't feel it when I'm lying down. Who can relate?

    Hi Suus,

    I haven't had any issues myself, but it looks like your little one is descending or has already descended and is putting pressure on your pelvic floor. Has your partner or gynecologist said anything about this?

    I have to go back to the OB/GYN on Monday, then I'll ask. It's so weird, I already have 2 kids, but with them I had a lot of pelvic pain. I think that's why I can't remember it or something... But yeah, that was 10 years ago

    Hi Suus,

    I totally relate to this from my second pregnancy. I also felt painful pressure in my vagina when my daughter had engaged. And especially severe pelvic pain. I got that painful pressure feeling at 32 weeks. I also felt exactly when she was turning and dropping. It felt strange; I could really feel her turning downwards in my belly, and it turned out to be true. The midwife said two days later that she had engaged. I only experienced this with my first pregnancy.
