Honest blog about everything related to motherhood
Good afternoon everyone!
I would like to share my blog with you all! As a midwife, I notice that a large part of women today no longer read or search for what is best for themselves and their child. They regularly take on board without question what their gynecologist, midwife, mother, friend, or neighbor tells them. Unfortunately, it has often turned out that this is not always the best information. Through this blog, I will regularly post articles, ideas, and blogs to get people thinking again. In this way, I hope to encourage more people to think critically about the information they receive and thus prioritize their own health (both physical and mental) and their child's health.
During my training, I often came across conflicting information. This was not always contradictory to previously received information, but often also contradictory to my feelings. By searching for this information, delving deeper, comparing, and looking at it from different angles, I noticed that my knowledge expanded further and I felt better about my own care. As a critical midwife, I try to obtain the best information and thus improve my care.
Regularly an honest, well-founded post about getting pregnant, being pregnant, giving birth, the postpartum period, and even after that!
Love,
The critical midwife
