Clomid treatment

I went through exactly the same thing, but with Puregon (injections) instead of Clomid, and without IUI. I'm 22.

In the end, after a lot of doubt, we just went for it!!

The chance that all three would release properly, get fertilized AND implant is so incredibly small, and the chance that they'd all also be viable is even smaller. For us, it already went wrong during ovulation itself, so this attempt was doomed from the start.

Three months later, I got pregnant when there were 3 eggs again. One was aspirated via egg retrieval, and 2 remained. In 6 weeks, we're expecting 1 baby!

Wishing you lots of success, hopefully my experience helps you out!

If your partner's sperm isn't top quality anyway, I'd just take the chance in the hope that it works out spontaneously! At least then you haven't wasted a month.

And yeah, that egg retrieval of mine was actually quite exceptional, I was told.. It was the 2nd time that there were too many eggs after several failed attempts where medication (Clomid) just didn't work. Stimulating the eggs takes a long time for me (+/- 30 days of injections with many adjustments before anything even starts to grow). An egg retrieval is an expensive procedure which they don't just apply the first time around.

And regarding your age; the chance of success is of course higher at 24 than at 35.. Just be glad that you're so young, then the chances are really higher for you guys!!

Hopefully it works out this month. What do you think about twins? And what does your partner think?
Otherwise, I hope you get pregnant next month with 25mg of Clomid!!

We've already had 2 attempts with Pregnyl injections (actually 4 attempts, but they were postponed twice, and the real attempts were negative each time).
This was the first time with Clomid 50mg, so it did work, but apparently a bit TOO well.

We'd both love to have twins; a pair of twins seems cool and cute to me, but more than 2 seems quite overwhelming, especially since I already had a tough time in the first months with my daughter.
And there's naturally twice as much to deal with...
But if it were to happen like that, we'd probably get a shock because we wouldn't believe it at first haha, but also because there would be "more" than one...
But we'd still find it super awesome, anyway!
