Have you guys done the unpacking yet?

My partner and I have decided to try for a baby. I'm taking my last pill tomorrow, and I was wondering if many of you waited a few cycles first or if you started trying right away. According to my GP, it doesn't matter, and the ultrasound will help determine exactly how far along you are. But isn't it better to let your cycle regulate first?
