M&J
Hi there, I have a question. I took a test yesterday afternoon (28-10-2014) and it showed positive, but only a very faint line. This morning I took another test and it was also positive, but darker. Does anyone have experience with Action pregnancy tests? I can't believe I'm already pregnant after 3 months.

    @m&j,

    Yes, I've tested the Action pregnancy test and yes, you're really pregnant... Congratulations on your pregnancy

    I probably did around 15 tests from Action, and they were all right every time.

    I agree with Mavanmi, you're PREGNANT!!!! Congratulations!

    Ah, thank you so much! Yes, I'm really happy!! It's a bit of a relief. I have an intake appointment with the midwife on Monday. What do they actually do there?:$

    Then it's just a chat. You can measure your blood pressure and step on the scale. It's recommended to go with your partner.

    What's your due date, by the way? Nice!!! There will probably also be an appointment for the first ultrasound.

    hello little bear,
    yes that's right I'm going together with my boyfriend thank you very much by the way I'm really happy yes, really nice can't wait for the ultrasound the woman also said that we should make an appointment for an ultrasound there

    Then ask right away whether the ultrasound will be internal or external. You don't want to be caught off guard by a nasty surprise. With the first one, they do external from 8 weeks, with the other, they only start at 10/11 weeks.

    Enjoy your happiness!!

    @m&j,

    Let me know how it went, I'm curious how far along you are...

    For me, they only did external ultrasounds, but everything was already clearly visible

    And the action tests are reliable enough; otherwise, they wouldn't have been on sale for quite a while.
    Pretty handy, those cheap tests

    I sure will! I bought a Clearblue test today, hehe, and it said 2-3 weeks. I'm curious how long I actually am because the midwife said I'm about 6-7 weeks now since my last period was on 19-09. So I'm curious, I'll let you know And yes, definitely Mama2, really super cheap. I thought it was 1.50 for 2, which is a bargain since the Clearblue was 13,-

    With my first pregnancy last year, I was supposed to be 8 weeks and 6 days. The gestational sac turned out to be empty.
    With the second one, we were 9 weeks and 1 day. The baby had then grown to 9 weeks. That was really quite bizarre. With the third one, I hadn't had an ultrasound yet; I was supposed to come in at 6 weeks, but had a spontaneous miscarriage at 5 weeks.
    With this pregnancy, we were allowed to come in at 5 weeks and 6 days already. At the GP's office, there was nothing to see yet. We were then referred to the gynecologist. At 6 weeks and 3 days, we had an ultrasound there. We saw a very cute little shrimp with a strong beating heart. At 8 weeks and 1 day, we were allowed to come back, and at 9 weeks and 6 days too. We saw a very beautiful growing baby, with a strong beating heart. During the ultrasound at 9 weeks and 6 days, our little baby was happily moving around. You could really already see that it was a baby. At 12 weeks and 6 days, we had the dating scan, which was also our last. You could see the bones very clearly. The bladder was already filled. Really beautiful!!!

    It really depends on how far along you are and how fast your baby grows. That varies enormously. One person has a beating heart at 6 weeks, another at 7. It also depends on the position.

    How far do you think you are on Monday?
