Forum Feeding

From 7 to 6 feedings

Hi everyone,

Our son used to get 110cc per feed with 7 feeds.
Now he only has 6 feeds, but last night he was hungry.
So he took in 7x110 = 770.
With 6 feeds he should take in 660.
Can I increase the 6 feeds by 20cc so
6x130 = 780 so he takes in the same amount? Otherwise he would get less, while he should actually be growing. I think so, but I'm curious about your opinions.

He is almost 4 weeks old and approx 4 kg
Thanks in advance!

    Hi!
    Congratulations!
I think if you go for fewer feeds, you just give more per feed in the bottle, right?

But I don’t know much more... I give my son, for example...
But I think it's like that, and the number of feeds per day is also on the packaging of the formula based on your baby's weight. But that's just a guideline.
    Good luck!
