Ugh, if you're using Utro on your gynecologist's advice, I wouldn't just stop taking it. He wouldn't prescribe it for no reason!
And no, a negative test 1 day before your period doesn't necessarily mean you're not pregnant... I think you should just wait a bit more. If your period doesn't come and the tests are still negative, then contact your gynecologist. But don't just stop taking Utro.
