    @kristel,

    Never experienced anything like that myself. If you're worrying too much, call the midwife.

    Good luck

    @kristel,

    Maybe it's just old blood, you never know.
    I'm glad you're reassured now.
    Good luck with getting pregnant

    Yes, thank you so much!! Hoping for a shorter cycle of 50! Pfffff! Are you trying too or are you pregnant!? Love

    Hi,

    I have the same thing. That I barely have any real bleeding. I also have a lot of pains myself. Luckily, I can go to the gynecologist, but I do have a fairly regular cycle. You do need to keep an eye on that. If you have such a long cycle too often, you should see your GP. But don't let yourself get worked up by myself. I just wanted to mention it.

    Greetings, Eva

    You can always throw a test at it, Kristel, then you'll know for sure! Old blood is pretty logical after a long cycle. The BMS has been there for so long that it becomes 'old', so brown comes out before it turns red..

    I always lost some brown/black 'blood' every 60 to 80 days.. but I also didn't ovulate and the midwife told me not to count these 'bleedings' as periods.
    After 6/7 months she decided enough was enough and referred me to the gynecologist. Turns out I had PCOS, so no ovulation. A little year later I was pregnant through fertility treatments.

    Don't want to scare you, but keep an eye on it, and go to the midwife in time!

    Good luck xkruimel

    That's tough when things don't go as planned. I found out I was pregnant last week. So I did ovulate. But I'm still wondering if everything is okay, but so far it's working. Take a look at it again. I think I only really ovulated after 4 months because from then on I started getting more symptoms. Stand up for yourself if you really don't feel right! After 6 months your cycle should be normal, I think.

    Hi crumbs! Could I send you a friend request and ask you something privately? A week ago I went to the hospital and found out I have PCOS, but I got absolutely no explanation. It's actually scandalous, but at that moment I was so shocked and so much was coming at me that I didn't go into it further. I'd really like to know how it went for you, so I have some idea of what to expect. Thanks in advance, and congratulations on your pregnancy!

    Of course, Samantha!
    That’s so frustrating that you didn’t get any info!! I totally get that you were startled, but it’s actually quite easy to fix! Shall we chat more privately?

    Hi. I recently had my period, then got it again after a week. But it was black blood and not a lot. I don't have any discomfort. Can someone please tell me why this is happening?
