Today I’m 11 weeks and 1 day pregnant, and no, I’m not feeling nauseous. But the fatigue is even greater. I’m so tired, so incredibly tired that I have no energy for anything. Taking care of our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter is really weighing on me, let alone having the energy to play with her and do fun things. My house is a mess right now. I just can’t find the energy to do anything. And my partner is suffering from it too. I feel like a failure as a mother, homemaker, and partner, and I’d really like to do something about it, but I don’t know what. Don’t get me wrong, we’re very happy about our second pregnancy, and I know it’s all part of it, but this is really hard for me and is starting to get quite boring.

I had exactly the same thing. And believe me, the second trimester is really over! Let things be, let your daughter stay over at grandma and grandpa's, and take it easy. Soon you'll feel better again and be able to handle everything.
You're pregnant!! You can't get a better excuse than that.

Cheer up Jeanette, you're doing great through it all :-)

    Hi Jeanette,
What you're experiencing is totally normal.
I had it too; I even fell asleep on the toilet.
At one point, I couldn't even drive after a day of work because if I got stuck in traffic, I'd fall asleep again.
But really, it does go away, and you'll get your energy back.
I'm now over 29 weeks pregnant and still exercise three times a week, and I haven't had any issues so far.
So good luck, you can do it.

    Hi Iza,

Floradix works fantastically. And it really belongs there. I'm now 27 weeks and also exercise twice a week and take a good walk with my dog three times a day!

    Good luck, girl!

Fatigue was something I had too; I really fell asleep at any given moment. Nothing to worry about. It'll stop on its own again :-)

    Good luck

    Ilona
