Hi! I'm Esther, from Rotterdam, and I'm pregnant with my first baby. I'm 13 weeks along and feeling good. It would be nice to connect with other soon-to-be moms.

    nice to meet you, I'm pregnant with my 2nd and things are going well with me too.
    It sounds like it's your first pregnancy, when is your due date? Somewhere end of February?

    Yes, it's indeed my first pregnancy, my due date is March 12th. I find it really exciting. I think I already have quite a baby bump. Is your first child a boy or a girl?

    Great, just when it’ll be a bit more pleasant again..

    I also got a quite noticeable bump very quickly with my first; I couldn’t hide it anymore by 8 weeks, and by the end it looked like I was expecting triplets!
    With this pregnancy, it only started showing clearly from 15 weeks. I was really sick during the first trimester with the first one, maybe because of that (since I didn’t eat much).
    My first is a boy, and the second one is too

    I had wanted a girl because I’m stopping after this, but well, nature had other plans.
    My second boy is more than welcome though.

    I could already tell with the first one what it was at 12 weeks, and with the second one at 13 weeks.
    And you, soon too? When’s your next appointment? I know you get far fewer check-ups in the Netherlands than we do here in Belgium; ours are monthly..

    And yeah, sorry I forgot to mention where I’m from..
    I’m from Belgium, Brussels region.
