Luther or Luciano

I really want to name my son Luther, but I'm worried he might get teased because it's such an old-fashioned name. I'd prefer a tough, short name that can be easily shortened... We're definitely going with Arthur as the middle name.

    They really are two totally different names. Luther sounds very wise and a bit chic, while Luciano sounds more Italian or even a bit campy (I know that's a really poor way to put it, but I can't find a better word). I think Arthur is a beautiful middle name. Maybe Luther would fit best with that?
    Maybe Lucian could also be a nice choice...?
