22 weeks and can't feel the baby anymore?

Hi!

I have a question and I hope someone here has experience with this.
It's my first pregnancy so everything is new to me!

At 17 weeks I felt the baby clearly for the first time. Since then, she's been obvious every day. Normally she's super active as soon as I sit still for even a moment.
Now, for the past 2 days I haven't felt her. Is this normal? Should I call the midwife or wait a bit longer?

All advice is welcome!

    Thanks for your reply. No, at 17 weeks it was really the baby; even the midwife felt her at 18 weeks.
    I haven’t had any further bleeding or fever, and I’m not moving more or less than usual...

    Yeah, that's quite possible actually Every woman is different..

    Yeah, if I were you, I'd still go to the doctor..
    With my first pregnancy, I always went whenever I thought something was wrong, and they always told me it was better to come in to check if everything was okay with the baby...

    This is now my 2nd pregnancy, and I've had to go a few times already... Always for a good reason.

    I'd call. It's possible she's in a different position, so you might not feel her for a bit. 2 days is pretty long if you normally feel her every day. Have you tried "calling" her by pressing your hand on your belly and letting her rest there?

    Girl, it's better to call too often than not enough. If everything turns out fine, at least you'll have peace of mind again.

    I called the midwife on the same day, and everything was fine with the little girl! And luckily, she's been actively present again since today! Thanks for your advice!

    It’s possible that you won’t feel the baby for 2 days. This is normal until the 26th or 28th week. If you haven’t felt your baby for a day after that point, you should always call your midwife. Hopefully, you’ve already heard this from your midwife.
