Getting pregnant

Hi everyone,

I'm having my IUD removed within a month and we'd like to get pregnant. I have two questions about this. Getting my IUD inserted was hell (I got pregnant unexpectedly but was still studying, so it wasn't the right time, and on my gynecologist's advice, I had an IUD inserted). Is removing it just as awful? And do any of you ladies have experience with when you become fertile again after removal? I'm wondering whether I should go back on the pill. We're moving to our new house in December/January, and then we'd like to start trying for our first baby.

Warm regards!

    Hey,

I don't have any experience, but I am interested in this topic.
I've had my IUD for almost 1.5 years now and we're also thinking about having a second baby.
I hope it doesn't hurt to get it removed, but I fear we might have to suffer a bit!

    Good luck anyway!

No, in principle it doesn't hurt to have the coil removed.

    Good luck!
