Wow, I'm super happy for you that it worked out, so it definitely helped!
Unfortunately, things aren't going so well for me. I went to the gynecologist today and got some not-so-great news. They examined me and it turns out I have PCOS. My world crumbled a bit when I heard that; I'm still reeling from it, but it's treatable. I need to go to the hospital on the 3rd for blood tests, and then I have to go back to the hospital in about a month. They also took a swab today from my cervix, and I'll get the results in 4 weeks. Plus, they said I'm a bit overweight and need to lose weight. All sorts of things are running through my head—what if I can't get pregnant anymore? But yeah, we'll see. Unfortunately, it's not going as I had hoped, but I'm glad I insisted with the doctor to have me examined further. Otherwise, I would have gone on like this for months. Phew, sorry for my long story, I just needed to get it off my chest. And congratulations on your pregnancy, enjoy it! :-) -

Oh, I'm so happy for you! Heartfelt congratulations on your pregnancy. I know what you mean—at first, you think, "Okay, is this it?" haha. But when you see your baby for the first time on the ultrasound and feel them move, it's just wonderful!
So yes, it definitely helped not to worry too much. With me, it's not going so smoothly. I went to the hospital yesterday because I wanted them to check me out. Luckily, I insisted, and yesterday I finally got to see the gynecologist and had some tests done. They found out that I have PCOS
I'm still in shock and sad. I have to get my blood drawn on day 3 of my cycle and come back in 4 weeks. They also did a cervical smear. Because I'm a bit heavier, I need to lose weight, and next month I'll find out if I need medication to get pregnant. It's quite a blow, knowing I probably can't get pregnant naturally. But I'm not going to stress too much; I'll just see how it goes. I am glad I know what's wrong, even though I would have preferred nothing to be wrong. Oh well.

Thank you, Samantha! That's such terrible news!! I can imagine you're sad, but it's not impossible with PCOS, right? Try to relax and maybe with a little help, it'll work out!!

Hi sweetie, I just noticed that I posted the same thing twice. I thought my first message hadn't been sent, but yeah, no, it's indeed not impossible to have children again. Yes, I'll do that too and just let everything come to me. It'll work out eventually.

Hey Kristel!
Strange that your ovu tests keep showing light positives, but I have no experience with that!
I'd wait a few days and then test again
Good luck, girl!

Hey sweetie! Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I was thinking about that too, but wouldn't it still be a little bit brownish? When you're wiping and you see something? I really need to put in a tampon. It feels really weird... Xx -

Hi ladies, it's me again, the unsure one haha! I've been having brown discharge for 8 days now. The spotting has stopped! I really had no feeling that I was pregnant... But I didn't see any blood either and the brown discharge was very light. Can you have brown discharge for 8 days while pregnant? (I don't feel pregnant) Well, every pregnancy is different, right... What do you think? Should I take a test or was this just a weird period? -

Hi Kristel, that's annoying. It is brown discharge, but not the real breakthrough bleeding you normally have. I had that last month too, and I turned out not to be pregnant. The doctor told me then that it can happen that you only get brown discharge, but if you feel something isn't right, just do a test, I'd say. There are so many stories going around that say brown discharge can be implantation bleeding, while others say it's only red if... If you don't trust it, just do it. Then at least you have certainty and know where you stand.
Good luck!!!

Hey Samantha,
How are you doing now?
Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage and was hospitalized on October 21st, so we don't have a baby yet!

Hey girls!
I was 8 weeks pregnant and at first it didn’t affect me too much, but after the curettage I’ve had a hard time from time to time. For example, yesterday on TV a woman was 20 weeks and the baby turned out to be dead, so I just burst into tears hihi. But then right after that, a package from Nutricia was delivered, and I just couldn’t handle that. But hopefully, it’ll get better
It’s so nice that all the tests came out fine! Too bad you have to lose weight first before you can continue, but I’m sure you’ll manage
And hopefully, your friend’s swimmers are okay too!
Let me know how it goes

@samantha,
Makes sense, I hadn't heard of it either until it happened to me. We're busy practicing to get pregnant again, so we'll just have to wait and see.
It was diagnosed in April and I had a D&C in May..
It's really hard, Sylvia, that all these baby gifts keep coming in, but that's just what happens... If you're signed up for things. I got a happy box but I wasn't happy, it's still in the closet until we're pregnant again, if that happens.. We hope so, but we'll just have to wait and see..

Hi mavanmi,
Hope you're pregnant again soon and that it goes well this time. Is this your first baby? And are you doing okay otherwise? Good luck, girl! Hopefully, we're all pregnant again soon with a good outcome. -

Hey ladies!
I'm not going to mess around with CD right now, so we'll see what happens. When my body is ready, it'll happen again, I guess
How long did it take for you to get pregnant with your first kids?
November is indeed a nice month to have a birthday and to get pregnant
Good luck to both of you

@sylvia,
Honestly, I wouldn't know. I've gotten pregnant on the pill every time...
So I can't tell you...
I'm curious too. Getting pregnant in November sounds amazing to me...

Hmm, it's quite strange that you're already on your 6th round, and you got pregnant while on the pill :/ Well, let's hope it works out again! Good luck in November

November is definitely a beautiful month but also very busy hihi
@eendje okay yeah, no stress about whether you're pregnant or not, and it's the same for me as for mavanmi, my son also came through the pill
