Hi there. I'm now 24 weeks pregnant with our 5th child and we're having a boy. We already have 4 daughters and all their names start with the letter J. Now we're expecting a boy and are completely in love with a name that starts with the letter T. So the question is: Is this weird? Are we 'obliged' to pick another name starting with J, or do you think this is fine?

    I don't see anything weird about it at all... Especially if you're both totally in love with the name, I'd just go for it!!

    Just do it! If you're having another son, his name should naturally start with a T too! :-)

    It's the first boy, so he can definitely have a different letter! I don't think it's weird at all. Especially if the name fits the vibe of your family.

    If you hear them all in a row, it’s nice that it would be a -J again. But the fact that he’s the only boy makes it totally OK, I think! The name itself is what matters most!!!

    I'd say it's totally fine for a boy's name to stand out a bit from the rest. So go for the name that starts with a T!
