Hi ladies

Did you get an answer to our question?

We had sex a day and a half before ovulation. Is that still in time???

And after having sex, I always lose some fluid. Is that negative for a pregnancy or not?

After sex, I always lie down for a while with a towel ready, but after a while I can't hold it all in and have to go to the toilet to clean up. After that, I go back to bed to sleep.

And the next day, I'm always a bit worried that more fluid will come out.

A follow-up to the post above

The next day, I'm always a bit scared of losing more fluid while peeing.

And my question is: can I still get pregnant after a little bit of fluid loss or not?

    Hi Wevertje,

Yeah, that's fine. The sperm that leaks out doesn't have any chance anyway.
I always have a lot of fluid leaking out too... but I've been pregnant twice and both times I was standing around doing a lot of chores and had a lot of fluid loss...
    Hope you get pregnant soon!

Yes, we’ve been trying for almost a year now.

I just hope everything isn’t over yet. I stayed lying down after doing some DIY work and immediately felt “oh no.” After using the toilet, I went to lie down again. Now I’m experiencing a lot of cramps and movement in my belly. I’m just 1 day past ovulation.

    Hi Am.
Do you know anything about this? My dog came and lay down next to me a little while ago, and she put her paw on my belly. It was pretty wild though—could that be harmful?

And according to calculations, I should be ovulating on Thursday, but who knows, maybe I already did. We’re going to Bellewaerde on Wednesday. Could that be bad for the conception or not?

Ok, that’s been a while indeed.
I think indeed that it does help to lie down for a bit with a pillow under your hips.
But the sperm that has entered the cervix during ejaculation only has a chance.. everything outside there runs out.. and ultimately you only need 1 sperm cell.
Do you use ovulation tests too?
I think it won’t do any harm if your dog’s paw hit your belly hard.. if implantation has occurred, it’s so deep that it can’t have any consequences. I had something similar during my pregnancy myself, but the baby is so well protected that you don’t need to worry about it.. do you think you’re pregnant now?
I read this about roller coasters: Roller coasters are discouraged. Although there is no scientific proof that a roller coaster is harmful to your baby, there are major concerns among doctors about the effect of a wild ride on a roller coaster.
    Thrilling, huh

According to the calculation on my phone, implantation should still be coming. But an app like that can also be off by a few days, meaning implantation might have already happened. So I’m getting a bit worried. My body is acting differently than usual—it feels exactly like period cramps, but that’s still a bit too early, right? Normally, that would be between August 1st and 8th. And there are moments when everything seems to be moving around in my belly.

No, don't use ovulation tests. I keep an eye on my app and I can feel when the best time is too.
