Sore nipples today NOD

I’ve got a big question mark over my head.

I’m 22 years and 2 months old and stopped the pill. My period was supposed to be due today, but I say “supposed to” because my last cycle was really weird. I was a week late until I had some bleeding for a few days—just two spots a day, that was it. Before that, I always had really heavy periods.

I now have a severe bladder infection, so I had to tell my doctor there’s a chance I could be pregnant because of the medication. We drew blood two days ago, and the result was negative; my HCG level was 2. But somewhere inside, I’m still doubting.

Can a blood test be taken too early? It was mainly because of my bladder infection, since it’s severe, and if it doesn’t go away with this medication, I’ll need stronger meds.

I have very sensitive and sore nipples, I’m not eating much, I take one bite and I’m already done, the taste doesn’t sit right. My stomach is sensitive too, and I have diarrhea. Especially my sore nipples are on my mind; I’ve never had that before, not even when my period is due.

Could it be that the blood test was taken too early? As you can read, I’m not even late yet.

Now I’m also worried about something else: my mother had only a 1 in 1,000 chance of getting pregnant, and she got pregnant at 40 completely unexpectedly. I’m afraid this might be hereditary... Because everyone around me is already two months pregnant, and I’m maybe not even starting to think about it... Probably this is completely normal, but still...

Hopefully, there are people who have experienced the same... I’d love your opinions!
