35 weeks, what do I feel now?!

Hi!
I’m 35 weeks pregnant... and I’m getting sharp pains in the sides of my belly. I also sometimes feel period-like cramps.
I can’t call my OB because he’s on leave, and I can’t see him again until the 5th for my next check-up.
I’m sure there are plenty of you here who’ve experienced this too and know what to do.
