Good evening ladies, I'd like to ask what you all think about this.. I'm going crazy!!

I'm 5-6 days late.. I took a test this morning (ETOS brand) but it was negative.. But there are things that don't add up.. 1. Period is still missing 2. Sometimes feel a bit dizzy/light-headed 3. Nauseous, not severe but unpleasant (at the weirdest moments and out of nowhere.. 4. Gut issues. 5. Bloating.... Sometimes headaches but I'll ignore those since I do a lot of computer work... 6. My legs.. They're very tired and restless.. 7. White discharge (not much but it's there)... It could be anything but this feels like the start of a pregnancy to me.. Of course I hope for a baby but all the tests I've taken have been negative and I'm afraid of another disappointment.. I have to say that I seem to be good at being pseudocyesis.. But not this time.. No.. This has to be it.. But that test is bothering me...and the fear of another negative test is getting to me.. What do you all think? For info.. I'm 21 years old.. Stopped the contraceptive pill a year and a half ago, small stature. Maybe it doesn't matter but I've heard many times that if you're overweight you won't get pregnant BULLSHIT of course but it's eating at me.. Please ladies.. Help me through this! Xx

    Maybe a late ovulation?

The egg might have taken a bit longer to implant, so you might not be producing enough hCG yet to detect it. I recommend trying the Kruitvat tests at 2 weeks past ovulation (2W5). Use first morning urine, and wait until you're a week late. Don't stress too much if you have symptoms and the tests are negative. Pregnancy symptoms can feel very similar to period symptoms. I'm rooting for you, girl!!

Yeah, I'm going crazy over this.. The thoughts of whether or not I am are exhausting.. Especially because you secretly hope so much but it just doesn't happen and then you start doubting.. I'm still waiting... And then we'll test again! I'm already 6 days late.. My belly is still swollen and the nausea is still mild but in waves.. Nothing else new.. Yeah, my arms look weird but that could be due to the weather haha

Well.. Here's the update.. This morning.. 7 days overdue again.. And in the afternoon.. Yeah.. Period.. I felt like I was falling apart again.. Setback number 637.. Baby, when are you coming?! We can't wait for you to arrive... ????

That's so frustrating. Have you been trying for a long time?

I totally relate to how you feel. It took us 14 months to get pregnant. Something I never expected because with the other two I got pregnant quickly—3 and 1 month. Unfortunately, it ended in a miscarriage in March. In September of that year I was pregnant again, miscarried in October, and pregnant again in November. That one also ended in a miscarriage. How crazy is that? One way you don't get pregnant, and the other way you get pregnant three times in a row. We decided to stop and took the pill for 3 months. In the second cycle it worked, and luckily everything was fine!! Hang in there, girl!

Oh how nice for you!! Geez that sounds really intense.. It's great that you stayed strong and kept going!! We've been at it for about 2 years.. And we're waiting for our first baby soon.. I'm 21 and my partner is 33 so I feel like I'm a bit rushed.. But I'm keeping hope alive!

It really was a rotten year. I'm now realizing it had a bigger impact than I thought. We really didn't want to try anymore, we were really broken. It's nice to take a break for 3 months. We realized then that it wasn't ready for us yet and that we still wanted to go ahead.

Are you already trying at the hospital? For you, there's no rush, and for your man, not yet either. For men, the risk of complications starts at 45, and those risks are very small. I completely understand how you feel! I had the same thing with my kids and my husband. The oldest is turning 10 this year, and the youngest is 8. That's quite a big difference. And my husband is 37 now, and I'm almost 28, which I also thought was pretty advanced

Girl, I hope you guys succeed soon!

Here too, a little bit... Been overdue for 6 days, had positive and negative tests, and a negative blood test.

I stopped the mini-pill 7 months ago. For half a year now, I've had a cycle of only 20 days, so now it's been more than 30 days since I last got my period. I'm taking vitamins and we really want to get pregnant, but the test is still negative. Still, I have sore breasts and need to pee a lot. I'm going crazy with the uncertainty!

    Hi ladies,

    I'm in a situation I can't figure out.
From Jan 8th to Jan 14th I had a normal period.
The 24th of January was my most fertile day. I had unprotected sex, but the guy didn't cum inside me, just a lot of pre-cum.
I was supposed to get my period on Feb 8th, but it didn't happen. I'm now 1 week and 6 days late. Yesterday I had a bit of stomach pain, went to the toilet, and saw some pink when wiping. So I thought, "It's the start of my period," and put on a pad, obviously. This morning I went to the toilet again, no blood, and no pink when wiping. So, just to be sure, I bought a test at Kruidvat (2 for 5 euros), and it was negative. But I have a splitting headache. Do you think I should go to the doctor, or test again at the end of the month? My last pregnancy was also a hassle... I tested negative, went to the doctor, and it turned out positive. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Best, Anja xx

    Hi!

I'm 6 days late and the pregnancy tests are negative.
I always have a regular cycle but have never been 6 days late.
I stopped the pill 2 months ago.
I'm experiencing a lot of symptoms: nausea, feeling really sick, tender breasts, stomach cramps, and fatigue.

Does anyone know what's going on?
  12. Beertje #13

Sounds like you're coming off the pill, girl. You just stopped, so you can't talk about a regular cycle yet. If your period doesn't come for a few weeks, get in touch with your doctor. Good luck!
  13. Sharii Guest #14

Okay, but could I be pregnant?
  14. Beertje #15

Theoretically yes. Then your ovulation should have been later, so your hCG isn't measurable yet. Or you belong to the group of women who don't test positive with a urine test. I wouldn't assume that though.

Google "ontpillen" (coming off the pill) a bit; many women have quite a bit of trouble with it. Your whole hormonal balance gets thrown off by it, which can make you feel terribly nauseous; sore breasts are also part of that. They're also signs of an approaching period. Pretty mean because they're also characteristics of pregnancy. It's caused by the changes in your hormonal balance.

Be patient, however hard that is.

    Okay, thank you!
I'll do a quick Google search.
    I'll let you know

pfff I'm really going crazy with myself
Nausea all day, headache, mucus in my underwear, and I've been peeing 30 times even though I haven't drunk that much. I'm going to order a Clearblue test tonight and do it over the weekend. Does anyone here have good results with it or maybe this one works better?

Hey everyone, I have a question.
I'm taking the pill, so I'm not currently on it because I'm trying for a 2nd baby. Normally, I should already be back on the pill, but I haven't had my period yet. I'm 6 days late. Normally, I stop the pill and get my period very quickly. I've taken two tests, but they're both negative. What could this be? I do have some discomfort in my belly. Could I still be pregnant?
  18. Kimberly Guest #19

Hi! Just a quick explanation from me... I was on the combined pill for 3 years. Then I stopped and after that I took the pill irregularly. Now I've been off it for 2-3 years and got my period right away, always on time. But for the last 2 months, I was either a day early or late. Now I'm already 5 days late. I'm feeling heavy, have headaches, and cramps. I feel like my period is coming any moment. I've done 2 tests, both negative. I know I'm thinking about it too much. But every time I'm not really thinking about it until my period starts. And now I have this feeling like, oh, I'm pregnant. And I can't think of anything else. I'll wait 3 more days and if I still haven't gotten it, I'll test again.

    Best,
    Kimberly

@ Anja. During my first pregnancy, I tested negative for 2 months. I wasn't regular back then either. I went to the doctor for a lump in my breast and had to take a test. It was positive. Turns out I was already 2 months and 3 days pregnant!
