Implantation bleeding or period

Hi everyone,

we've been trying to get pregnant for years. After 4 failed ICSI cycles, we decided to put our latest attempt on hold (the last attempt was 3 months ago). But a girl can always hope that it might just happen naturally... I ovulated on June 30th and started bleeding on July 8th (my cycle is 25 days long, and I was due on the 14th). I'm now on day 5 of bleeding, but this is nowhere near like my normal period (which is always very heavy with lots of clots, sorry). Now I'm losing brownish blood, and sometimes red. It has gotten heavier, and I took a test 2 days ago, which was negative. Are there other women who have experienced this, where their period suddenly came a week early?

I haven't experienced it myself, but there are all sorts of causes that can lead to this. I don't know if you're still taking hormones or if you've already stopped? Stress, illness, or inflammation can also affect your period.
You can always take a test or have your blood checked by your GP if you really want a clear answer.
